Notice Hazel's daughter Rhiannon has a finer micron than Hazelnut, the result of a finer stud. She's a sturdy and petite little paca that you will find quite easy to work with. She has a pleasant personality--even when pregnant! She amuses me. After throwing regular ole hay in the bucket, she will stand at the gate watching to see if I go to the "special pile"—alfalfa. If I grab a handful and start for her gate, she'll leap straight up in the air—just once! You can almost hear her say "YIPPEE! Treats!" Here's one pretty, easy keeping little lady with a fleece that's SO USEABLE! Yes, she may be 15, but she's in great shape and I have no doubt she can carry a cria just fine. She is now bred to our true black Antonio for this price, so you get two in this deal! You should expect to get a cria with a finer fleece by Tony. Rhiannon has a medium rose gray sire—the famous Premier's Rubio—so I've always wondered if we couldn't get a gray baby from her. Let's see if Tony pulls a gray out of her! He has a really nice EPD and histogram.

Rhiannon went through her first pregnancy, birthing without a hitch. SEPT 2013, she had a male cria, McCheyne, who is a light fawn. This boy's legs are sprinked with white. Rhiannon showed us her milking abilities, because in 4 weeks this little guy packed on 16 lbs.! The sire, Dirk, made a very nice cria!

Rhiannon is pretty calm and has a huge cuteness factor. We were surprised to get white Rhiannon out of a DF mom and MRG sire. We'd love to see if she can pass on that grey color of her famous papa and a breeding with true black Antonio might do it! She has a nice boxy conformation and straight legs.
